Moose Straight Bourbon Whiskey

“Moose” is a cask strength single barrel straight bourbon whiskey that has been aged for five years and finished in a white port/madeira barrel. This high rye bourbon is 103 proof, abv.  51.5%.  Moose is part of our Whiskey Project which is a series of delicious and inventive whiskey blends hand-crafted in a Cape Cod barn by master distiller Dave Roberts. Enjoy neat, over ice, or anyway you see fit.

Color– Deep Amber/ Mahogany

Aroma– Slight nutty smokiness and sweet red fruit with hints of white pepper and almond/pecan pie

Palate– Bright red fruit with notes of apple pie/baking spice balanced with vanilla and a slight toasted oakiness

Finish– soft, balanced finish with slight astringency, lingering sweetness and caramel

75% Corn

21% Rye

4% Malted Barley

5 years old

Finished in 50/50 Toasted Chardonnay and Ruby Port Barrels
